We know that compensation, employer-funded benefits and opportunities for personal development are very important to our employees. Therefore, we would like to provide you with the necessary pieces of information concerning this matter and other important topics "around work" in this section.

At Bayer innovation is part of our DNA and an integral part of our daily work. It’s not something that happens exclusively in laboratories. We see it as being open to new and unconventional approaches and perspectives. Our working culture is driven by our passion and the fascination to think ahead. That is why we encourage you to question the status quo and constantly think beyond the obvious “around work”. It takes imagination, ambition and courage to find answers to society’s most pressing questions.
Questioning and being open to new things are both expressions of flexibility, and are thus firmly anchored in our corporate LIFE values. Bayer's aim is to establish a working atmosphere in which its employees can exploit their creative potential to the full. One example of this is the new WeSolve Platform through which all employees are asked to contribute their creative ideas. Another is the global employee survey, which provides a regular basis for checking on what we already do and looking for ways to improve.
Bayer's positive working culture is furthermore supported by providing competitive pay, state-of-the-art rewards and recognition, supportive Talent Management measures as well as social corporate activities and a comfortable work-life balance for the employees.
